Adventure Pilgrims Trekking has many peaks offered to climb. Known as the Himalayan Kingdom, Nepal has 1310 mountains (the major portion of the Mountain range.) which are over 5500 meters (18,090 ft) to 8848m (29,028ft) above sea level. This makes our country exceptionally popular for mountaineers.

Since 1978, the Nepal Mountaineering Association has had the authority to issue climbing permits for small-scale peaks. Thanks to our NMA membership, Adventure Pilgrims Trekking can see to permitting without the previously complicated application process. 

Our Guides are experienced high elevation mountaineers. They are trained to take you safely into the thin air region of the majestic Himalayas. They are particularly concerned about the acclimatization process. Unlike certain other organizers, we only dispatch guides who have summit experience on your target mountain.

We shall gladly send you the rules and regulations of the Nepal Mountaineering association upon request. The government of Nepal has opened another 103 Mountain Peaks for trekking and mountaineering purpose in 2002, in addition, the Total Number of Peaks has reached 263.These peaks are climbed by fewer groups, and Most of them are not climbed yet.

You have great record opportunity to explore the peaks to have the new record in History of Nepal Mountaineering. For unclimbed peaks, you may have to find a route by your self with an assist of Sherpa Guide. We always encourage contacting through email for details.

On our every trekking programs and route, a feature of trails is up and down. For Everest Base Camp, Base Camp at 5200m is a focal point, Annapurna Circuit Thorong La Pass is a core focal point 5416 m, Likewise, there are numerous trekking routes over five thousand meters defined as a Trekking giving name A or B. Nepal Mountaineering Association has authority to issue Permit through Government registered Trekking Company, NMA has categorized Peaks in two section giving GROUP B includes 18 Trekking Peaks and Group A 15 Trekking Peaks.

The government of Nepal has announced partial and total exemption of Royalty on 60 Mountain peaks. The new is announced with the view of to promote trekking and Mountaineering other parts of Country. Some Mountain is 100 percent Royalty Free; are 20 Mountain Peaks.

To help carry out its objectives, the government of Nepal has authorized the Nepal Mountaineering Association to issue a permit for following peaks mentioned in the region from altitude 555m to 6,654m ranges in the Khumbu, Langtang, Annapurna Manang and other remote regions. Nepal mountaineering association has fixed the permit cost categorizing two group A and B, which has different adventure and Permit fees.

Nepal Mountaineering association offers following fees for trekking peaks. The association has divided fees in two section giving Group "A" and Group "B" Group A NMA Peak (New). 

Fees structure for Group "A" NMA Peaks

- Royalty for up to seven members (01-07 Pax): USD 500.00
- Royalty for each additional member up to 12 people USD 100.00

Note: Maximum number of members in a team is 12 Pax.
Garbage Deposit for all 33 NMA peaks: An amount of USA 250 should be deposited to NMA as garbage deposit to get a permit to all 33 NMA Peaks.The refund shall be made as per the provision made by NMA.

Fee structure for Group B NMA Peaks

- Royalty for up to four members (01-04): USD 350.00
- Royalty for (05-08) members: USD 350 Plus 40 USD Each Person.
- Royalty for (09-12) members: USD 350 Plus 25 USD Each Person.

Note: Maximum number of members in a team is 12 Pax.

Climbing Rules:-
(Effective August 6, 1981)

In exercise of the powers conferred by Government of Nepal, Nepal Mountaineering Association has made the following rules to be observed for the climbing of the peaks of Nepal Himalaya listed in Appendix '1'. These rules will come into force at once.

Definition : -
Where applicable definitions for these rules will be the same as those for Government of Nepal Mountaineering Expedition Regulations 1979 and its first Amendment 1984. 

Permission:-
Any person or mountaineering team desirous of climbing the peak listed in Appendix '1' must receive permission from Nepal Mountaineering Association. Application to climb the peak must be made in the form as prescribed in Appendix '2'. Permission to climb the peaks will be granted for a period of one month only. Permission may be extended, if necessary, for another period of two weeks. The period of permission granted relates to time spent for climbing above the base camp. The trek to and from the base camp is not included. Application for a climbing permit may be made at any time by the concerned mountaineering team. A permit will be granted on a first come first serve basis. The right to give permission to another party for climbing the same peak during the same period is reserved by Nepal Mountaineering Association. Nepal Mountaineering Association will recommend to Immigration Office of Government of Nepal for obtaining trekking permit of the area to the team members.

Payment of fee:- 
The climbing fee structure of NMA 18 Trekking Peaks listed in Appendix "1" is as follows:

For extending permission, an additional 25% charge of the total amount of the initial fee will be made for each extra week. The leader or climbing member of the team must collect the permit in person from Nepal Mountaineering Association. The maximum number of a person in a group is 12 Pax.

Refund:-
In the event of cancellation of the permission by NMA or the failure of the expedition to materialize due to some other reasons, the fees already paid will not be refunded. Every individual or party granted a climbing permit shall be accompanied by a Sirdar/Guide, who must be registered with NMA. 

Functions and duties of the Sirdar/ Guide:-
To assist the climbing party with the recruitment of porters and other staff, control of porters, local purchase of food, etc. And to solve any problem that may arise to the best of his ability.
To report to Nepal Mountaineering Association in case the party spends more than the prescribed time limit in the mountain.
To ensure that the climbers comply with the terms of their permit.
To ensure that the climbers (trekkers) follow the specified route.
To ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
To report to NMA any infringement of the climbing rules
To report any serious incidents to the nearest police post. The Sirdar Guide shall be employed from the day the climbing party begins the trek until the trek is finished. The Sirdar/Guide will be provided with the following facilities:-
Minimum daily allowance to be paid as per the rules of Government of Nepal, Ministry of Tourism, and Civil Aviation.

Food and tent accommodation.
Climbing equipment and necessary clothing if required to go above the base camp.
Insurance: All employees going above the base camp must be insured for a personal accident to the value of Rs. 200,000.00.

Nomination of representative in Kathmandu:- Each party granted climbing permit will nominate a representative in Kathmandu to act as a liaison between NMA and the climbing party. The representative may be an individual or an organization registered with NMA. The nominated representative will be responsible for making necessary arrangements for the climbing party in case of accidents or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Submission of the report : - On the conclusion of the climb and on return to Kathmandu, the party will submit a report to NMA. in the form prescribed in Appendix '4'. Power to cancel the permit:- NMA may cancel or withdraw the climbing permit any time with or without showing any particular reason. Non-compliance of the regulation:- Where any trekking party acts in contravention to the climbing permit or indulges in acts of unsocial or outrageous behavior contrary to the customs and culture of the people of Nepal, NMA may recommend to Government of Nepal to take necessary measures in accordance with the article 37 of Mountaineering Regulations 1979. 

Protection of Environment: Base camp and other camps will be left perfectly clean at the conclusion of the climb. No foreign materials, such as fix rope, pitons, etc shall be left on the mountain. All rubbish and waste material must be burnt or otherwise disposed of. 

Revision of the Regulations:- any article of this regulation may be revised or amended by NMA with prior permission of Government of Nepal.
